How are you?
I am writing this at home, it's really cold outside with snow predicted soon, so I am nice and comfortable with the fire on, thinking about the fun times we had together. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and Birthday.
Your mom and I have been speaking recently and hopefully we can arrange a time for us to meet up.
I am looking forward to hearing about what you had for your Birthday and Christmas.
I hope you're still enjoying things at school. They say that school days are the best days of your life. Well I certainly enjoyed my days at Primary school, running around, playing and being with my friends without a care in the world and I hope your days are like that too.
Are you still playing football after school? It would be great to see you play..I wonder if you have inherited my skill and vision! 
I was one of the school teams, the B team, didn't quite make the A team! We did win a few games though and i seem to remember scoring a couple of screamers! I modelled my style on Hot-Shot Hamish who was a character in the Dandy comic that my dad used get for me. His friend at work had a son about my age and would pass on his comics to me! So every few weeks I would get a nice stack of Beano's and Dandy's which I would read as I had my breakfast before school.
They were happy memories.
How's your reading? Have you got a favourite book/comic at the moment. I wonder if Scooby Doo is still a favourite of yours?
